Hi guys,
reading since almost a year now passively. Time to say hello now
I´m 35 years old and addicted to american muscle/sports cars since i was a child. Our former neighbour drove a Corvette C3 and an old camaro.
Two years ago i fullfilled a desire: I bought my first Corvette
I really love that car!
My second season with the car right now. It was on of the first C6 z06 in europe. Bought that car from first hand in a shape like fresh out of the plant.
Upgrades since then:
Forgestar CF10 in 19/20
Tikt full carbon racing seats with Tikt seat console
Halltech Superbee
Corsa Catback
ZR1 Rear spoiler from rpi
Tune on dyno
Cheers,
René

Hallo René! I was just in Germany for a month picking up 3 new Mercedes Benz. I drove through 6 countries. I saw a few Vettes and about 5 C6s. I saw a yellow C6 going the other way, might have been yours. Congrats on the Corvette. I liked Germany, and some of my family lives there too. I have family in Denmark, Germany, England, and the Netherlands.

OPTIMA Presents Corvette of the Week: Z06 Fever Spreads in Europe
Maybe it's just me, but the majority of expat Corvettes I've seen in Europe are C6 Z06s painted Velocity Yellow. It's like a C6 Z06 had way too much fun spreading its seed on a wild Euro trip back in '06, and then nine months later, a bunch of other Velocity Yellow Z06s started popping up around the continent.
Maybe this Corvette of the Week was the car that started Z06 fever in Europe. This 2006 Z06 was one of the first Z06s in Europe, according to "Rene_Z06", this 'Vette's owner. René bought this car two years ago. Since then, he's added some choice upgrades:
Forgestar CF10 wheels - 19" front/20" rear
TIKT full-carbon racing seats with TIKT center console
Halltech Super Bee ram air induction
Corsa Cat-Back exhaust
ZR1 rear spoiler from RPI
As if it wasn't enough of a formidable contender in the European market in stock form, now this Frankfurt 'Vette can show those Porsches and Audis how we get down in these United States.

Tire size
Guten Morgen Mr. Heinz ;-)
I'm running 285/30 front and 335/25 rear Michelin Sport Cups.
Works fine. No issues with electronic. Stable >190 mph on German Autobahn.
