Default Newb From Kansas City

I've always been a motorcycle guy until I recently had back surgery. I'm not going to be able to ride for quite a while so I figured a vette would be a good substitute till I can ride again. Now, the dilemma is how to tell the wife I'm keeping the vette when I get another bike. lol

last month I picked up a 93 40th with 112,000 miles. Bone stock except for a k&n filter. Love the car, It does everything a regular car does........just 10 times better.

I did the radiator clean out this week. Sounded easy after reading the sticky found here. Easy, Yes. Pain in the A, YES. In the write up he says grab a six pack sit on the porch and straighten out the fins. A six pack of patience, that is. lol All and all, I did enjoy working on it though.

Cheers
Don

Welcome from Louisiana - Hope your surgery went well. I know the feeling about the motorcycle, I was in the same situation a couple of years ago.

Thanks for the warm welcome. The radiator clean out worked as advertised. Close to 90 degree outside temp, ac blowing, sitting in traffic it barely hit 210.... awesome!!!
Now on to the exhaust. I've read a zillion opinions on here and think I'm going with the muffler delete kit, just hope it's not too loud.
The bose radio sounds like it's only coming from one side, not sure how to deal with that. I'd like to keep the oe radio but if it is too pricey, I'll just go with a modern 2din head unit and updated speakers.
It needs new rubber everywhere but the top of the doors. I found an inexpensive supplier, if I can remember their name anyway. Lol
Left front headlight clicks for about 5 seconds after turning on and turning off. Completely lost on that one.
Also need to find the proper rubber for the top storage brackets.

It's not a crazy long list, but it will keep me busy for a bit. Any and all advice or opinions are most certainly welcome.

Cheers,
Don
