Default Looking to buy need help!

I am 24 looking to buy a corvette and it will have to be a manual. This car has always been my dream car and I've always wanted one so desperately and now after some success with my new job I am able to afford a older vette. I am currently looking at 2 and have several questions about owning a corvette and their reliability once they get to higher mileage. I'm looking to spend around 20 grand which will get me a C5 or an early C6. I would prefer a C6 because I like the body style more and they are newer. But a vette is a vette and I won't be to picky. Which gen is better in your opinion? Now the 2 cars im interested in, the one is an 04 with 84,500 miles for $19,000. Its red and has HUD. The other one is a bit more than I would want to spend and would be a reach with the monthly payments that I want, its an 05 with 55,100 miles for $26,000. This car is silver with beautiful red seats and is loaded with push button start, navigation, and HUD to name a few. I plan on checking these cars out tomorrow which is why I want to get opinions and information on corvettes before I visit the dealer. which of the 2 sounds like a better deal? Should i be worried about a higher mileage vette? I've already check to see what insurance would be and cost of tires/breaks and am okay with the cost. Also I have a company car that I can use for personal miles so this wont be a daily driver. Sorry for this being kind of long and all over the place. Id appreciate any feedback and info. Thanks!

You will probably get a much better response if you post your question in the C5 and/or C6 general discussion sections of this forum. Good luck

Neither of the above. Since you specified manual I'm sending you a tip on a Z06 that may work for you.
