n00b from So. Cal., almost an owner...
Hey Guys,
I've always liked Vettes and respected Z06's and ZR1's off and on the track.
I almost bought a Z06 back in 2008, but gave in to my Euro side and got an M5 (yes, I know it's so far off). I have a full bolt-on GT-R that I track and aside from the GT-R, have always owned German cars (having had an M3 and a few other BMW's/MB's and also have a CLA45 AMG on order for European Delivery in a couple months).
I loved what Chevy did with the C7 (except the taillights). I was even considering a standard C7 a couple months ago, but was really put off by local dealers who wanted over sticker and for me to wait a while for a Z51...
When I heard the announcement for the Z06, I was sold. Instead of waiting on the sidelines, I placed a deposit with Tim at Boardwalk. Now, it's just a rough waiting game.
I do intend on tracking the car like I have my other cars, so I will be getting the Z07 package.
I'm looking forward to learning more and getting to know you guys.
