new guy need help!!
first wanted to say hi to everyone, i am getting ever closer to achiveing my life goal of owning a corvette and need some educated help.
i am trading off some man toys and i have 2 vettes that are possible prospects and have a few questions.
the first one is a 1994 coupe with about 136,000 miles. body is very good, interior is fair seats are worn, one of the glass tops have a small crack in it. but the owner told me he flused the cooling system out and now its heating. yeah i know about burping the system but would hate for the motor to be on its last legs. car does have headers and decent exhaust and newer model vette wheels. other than the heating issue he said the passenger window doesnt work.
the other is also a 1994 but a convertable. not real fond of a vert but. this one has 180,000 miles, body pretty good, interior fair. but the top is shot to hell. owner says that one is mechanically sound doesnt smoke or use oil shifts well. he says the only problem with the car is the climate control isnt working?? said he replaced a head unit but didnt fix?
both cars need things here and there. it wouldnt be a daily driver mainly a project/toy. the items i would be trading for either one i have about $2,000 in total. so i know im not loosing either way. my question is mainly wich seems better? what should i look for? on the convert is it hard to replace a top??
any and all help will be greatly appreciated as i desperatly want my first vette to be memorable not forgetable

You should get a better response in the C4 section. Welcome aboard.

click the site, click new thread and copy/paste your question and click submit or pm a mod, I guess.
