More Vettes for Colorado!
Good afternoon to everyone!
First timer to this forum thingy, we'll see how that works out. What a great medium thus far to expand my knowledge base about Corvettes in general and specifically about my new love - the C7
My first car was a '69 GTO, pre-owned but I put a lot of sweat equity into that car which I foolishly sold in the early '80s. I have dreamed since then of again having a car that I could take pride in and cherish the same way in which I did that Pontiac.
I have never owned a Chevy / GM product. I have never driven much less owned a Corvette, but of course have always been aware of and respectful of the history of the great American iconic automobile. That said, this new C7 Corvette has every bit of my attention!! From the styling to the performance this car looks to be my reintroduction into the world of adrenalin pumping driving.
I will drive up to Fort Lupton CO this afternoon to get my first peek at the C7 and am very excited as I look to consider my options for color, trim, performance packages, etc.
It appears by my own reaction and from the many posts that I have read on CF that GM has been successful in their attempts to attract new enthusiasts to the Corvette market. Now to wade through the whole dealer allotment, wait lists, and kinks that come with pushing out a new, popular product.
Best to all,
P
