Won't sleep until Saturday Night!
While I was in college, I had a neighbor back home who had a '67 427 convertible. I got to drive it a couple of times and I had always dreamed of something like it. I have a lifelong friend who had a brief affair with a Z06 and I got the drive that as well. There is something about a 2 door Chevy with a big motor! But I always figured it would be next year.
When this one came out, I have to admit I was interested. (Perhaps aroused is a better word, but I digress) Interestingly, my wife is the one who insisted that I buy the car. After all, it is the end of the 427 engines.
I will go to work tomorrow, but I doubt I will get much done. I am jumping on an airplane first thing Saturday morning to fly up to Atlantic City to pick up my brand new Arctic White 427. I can't believe that I am getting this car. I have a nice 6 hour drive home with one of my grade school friends (and Boxster driver) who has volunteered to come along for the ride. I guess we will show him what some extra cylinders can do.
I feel like I am ten year old again. WEEEEEEEEE

Congratulations! Welcome to the forum! I remember what it was like waiting for my vette! I still have a huge smile on my face when I think of the first day I picked it up. Jaw dropping exhilarating moment.
