New From NJ
Hello Forum Members...
New from NJ. Just bought a new 2013 427 convertible and absolutely love it. Been wanting a corvette for many years and finally reached a point in my life where I can afford it and I'm still young enough to enjoy it!!!
The car is out of this world. I've already been on several excursions, top up/top down, back roads/highways and it's fantastic. Power is impressive, comfort is surprising, look is head turning. Outfitted it with Autobahnd clear protectant on the front bumper, rockers and hood as well as the mild 2 wild exhaust. Brings an incredible sound to the car. Bought from MacMulkin in Nashua New Hampshire.
Don't usually go on about a dealership as negotiating a new car is not usually a pleasant experience...until I was introduced to MacMulkin.
MacMulkin has an extraordinary internet presence, great showroom and lots of stock on hand. It's family owned (Thompson Family) and I dealt directly with Tommy Thompson. Pricing was the best with no haggling needed. In fact, there is an additional discount for Corvette Forum members which they afforded me (as a new member). They compete with the other nationwide corvette dealer in NJ and based on my experience, I'd recommend them over any other dealer, hands down.
I called Tommy on a Saturday because he had the model, color and accessories on the car I was looking for. He shared with me his approach, his philosophy and a promise for great service. On Sunday (they're open on Sundays) we agreed (over email) that I would buy. He didn't ask for a deposit, he took me at my word and even started the autobahnd work on the car. My wife and I took a one way car rental up to NH that Wednesday afternoon. We stayed over night and picked up the car the next day.
Everything was as advertised and as described on the internet and by Tommy. All throughout the week we communicated over email and he had everything ready. When we arrived at the dealership Thursday, the car was outside, fully prepped and ready to go. Tommy took me through the the car, set it up with my personal preferences, made the paperwork a non-event and had us on our way in about an hour.
In my opinion, many dealerships follow the antiquated and broken model of multi level, salesman/manager, adversarial negotiation. MacMulkin (and Tommy) made the process simple, easy and established a relationship right out of the gate, built on trust. I was thoroughly impressed. My only disappointment? I can't have it serviced for service!
That said, does anyone have any recommendations for a service provider in Northern NJ?
Looking forward to exploring the forum...thanks in advance for any recommendations.

Thanks All....
Curious....I'm in Northern NJ and would appreciate any recommendations for routine service....looking for a trusted (based on your experience) Chevy dealer or others than can do the routine maintenance. Appreciate any recommendations.
