New and excited!!
Hi all!
I'm new to the forums and also new to Corvettes. My husband has agreed to getting me the car of my choice for my 30th birthday (in November!) I've looked at a number of cars in my price range and the more I read about the C5 the more I'm falling in love!
I'm doing a lot of reading to learn about the different options so that I'm fully informed before I buy! Any advice for a first-time buyer is appreciated. Looking forward to speaking with you all!

C6
Oh, believe me. I have looked at the C6...maybe one day. There's a beauty about the C5 though that I can't quite put my finger on. It's a subtler, sexier shape. Like a curvy woman.

Welcome to the Forum!!!
I looked at C5's and C6's before i bought my C5, and must say that it's everything i wished for and more in a car! I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have, and wish you the best of luck in your search for the perfect Vette for you! Btw, my birthday is in November, too!

C5 or C6, both are good choices in their respective price range. Have fun looking. The more you look, the more you will know what you want ant what is important to you.

Welcome! The C5 and C6 are both great choices, but at this time, the C5 will give you more bang for the buck. Good luck with your decision.

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your future purchase. Just FYI you can find some really reasonably priced C5 Z06s out there if you look hard enough. We have a "for sale" section on the forums for each generation. Below is the link to the "C5 corvettes for sale" sub-forum. Happy hunting.
