Hello Guys & Gals,
I currently do not own a Corvette. But I sure love the original AMERICAN Sports car!! I hope to own one some day!
My current project is a '63 Nova SS. I am using an '04 LS1 C5 motor. For now the motor will remain stock. I want to get the car assembled and see how it performs before I make changes to it. The car should be wicked fast as it should weigh between 28-2900#. Clutch setup will be either LS7 or a twin disc for future upgrades.
I will use a T56 backed by a Currie F9 and 3:50 gears. I have scraped all of the original suspension and upgraded to TCI MII front and TA rear. Later the front suspension will get changed out for either a TCI Pro Turing front clip or a modified C4.
My goal is to integrate as many C5 parts as possible. Seats, console, wheels(if I can find them narrow enough), brakes?, etc.
So why am I here? I'm hoping to make some new friends and meet some fellow Chevy nuts. Get some guidance on the mods I want to make, and suggestions for others I may not have thought of.
