New Memeber / Recaro Hoarder :)
Hi,
New member here and currently on the hunt for a C6, hoping this will be a good place to read up on them. Alot of you guys might know me from other forums and facebook as a2coupe2a or ron@jjcustominterior
I run an upholstery shop and specialize in Recaro restoration. Another goal of mine on here is to try and find more info on some of the recaros i know were optional in some of the c4 and c5's iirc.
I will post up my Recaro resource guides as well as plenty of diy guides and videos as i have time. Hopefully you guys will find the information useful.
Here is some of our work for those who are curious..
Gen 4 Recaro LS-C's
Gen 4 Recaro LS-B's / Rear seat / MK2 VW Jetta panels / Boots / Floor mats / Wheel insert
Recaro Sportster CS's / Mk5 VW door panel inserts / Boot / Armrest cover / Headliner / False floor
Recaro Pole Positions (the lower belt guides were not yet trimmed in pics)
Recaro LS-B's / Matching rear

My current project 320+whp supercharged 6cyl swapped 1986 vw gti.. Way overkill for a fwd car. Its fast dont get me wrong but utterly stupid trying to drive. Its a big part of the reason im now looking for a c6. I figure if i can squueze this much out of a little vw i would love to see what i could do with a new v8

Just a quick mention the following rule concerning promotion of your business.
Commercial posting Supporting vendors pay for the considerable bandwidth charges on the Forum, making it free for the rest of us. In exchange, they get the privilege of using the Forum to market and promote their goods and services. Historically, we allow them to post in the generation sections and the regional sections to market and promote their products/services.
Forum members are welcome to sell a Corvette or Corvette parts they purchased for their own personal use. Anything else is considered to be a commercial sale. Please check the sales rules regarding eBay sales and links:

Members are not prohibited from mentioning it when they have a good (or bad, for that matter) experience with a non-supporting vendor. But such mentions cannot be so specific (address, phone number, e-mail address, URL, price, part number, offer to send contact information via PMs, etc.) or so frequent that they become marketing and promotional references.
Only supporting vendors can post Group Purchase threads. Only supporting vendors are permitted to post threads to gauge interest in a product.
Members can include a mention of their personal businesses in their signatures so long as the enterprise does not compete with an existing supporting vendor, is not Corvette-related and is not so detailed or so frequently appended to their posts that it becomes inappropriate marketing and promotion.

Thanks, i have been digging around here for a while and cant seem to find any of the cars that came with the optional recaros. If anyone knows of one lmk, would love to get some info from them.
