Hey everyone! Ive been a lurker on the boards for some time now. I decided it was finally time to register and start participating when I picked up my '05 mn6 z51 c6 the other week.
This is my first vette and I still cant believe it everytime I look in the garage, which I do multiple times throughout the day even if Im not driving it, just to make sure its still there.
I found this gem at a local import dealer on consignment. The first owner wanted a 911 turbo and told the dealer if they could sell his car and find the right turbo he'd buy it. So they posted it on autotrader and the email alert I had set up notified me that day. The probem was becuase these guys (the dealer) have never had a vette on their lot and know nothing about them, they didnt provide much info as far as options, ect. So I decided to go take a look and figure out exactly what this car was for myself. When I got there I was blown away. The other dealers (chevrolet mostly) that had similar cars on their lot were asking $3-5k more. I said to myself, this is too good of a deal to pass up. Not only is it a great deal but it's in my back yard practically.
Im in love! Its machine silver with ebony interior, fully loaded with z51, 1sb with nav and heads up and only 30k miles. She's a beaut! The original owner took very good care of this car and fortunately kept all records. How can you beat that? The exact car I was looking for, in the right colors, with the right options, with well documented history, at the right price, right around the corner!

I look forward to being an active member on the forums. I have been on several other auto forums in the past, mostly club lexus since I have owned three lexus sedans- a '98 gs400, a '01 gs430 and a '06 gs430. Other cars I have owned include- multiple trucks, f-body camaro, multiple stangs and cobras. Ironic, I know, considering my username I can already tell you after only driving the vette a hundred miles or so that this is going to be one fun ride!
There are so many helpful members and great vendors on this site. Im proud to be a member and hope I can contribute for years to come!
