Hey there, thanks to everyone for their posts. To answer a question or two, sadly the car in my profile pic isn't mine. I didn't have any pics so I tried to find one that was close to mine. (except mines not a convertible, it has T-tops)
I have a 1976, Black exterior, Grey Interior, T-top, with a stock 350 engine. Its been sitting for about a year now, because I don't really have a lot (or any) money, and very little technical know-how about cars. But I finally decided to finish what I started. It has a lot of work that needs done, but I have absolutely always loved stingrays and had to get one.
Hopefully tonight and tomorrow I will work on getting her started again. I'm gonna do a tune-up and I need to replace the carb.
Known Issues:
Rear End Differential
Fuel Tank
Suspension
Electrical Issues
Power Assisted Steering Issues
Interior Needs Major TLC
Needs New Paint - paint cracking at pressure points I assume from suspension.
Back Window needs repair - (Previous owner decided to try and make it removable??)
No AC. (I live in Florida.)
Vacuum Leak
Weather Stripping
Temperature Gage
Speedometer/Odometer
Positive Side:
350 engine is new stock replacement - 5,500 miles on it
New Alternator and Belts
Transmission recently rebuilt shifts well
Clutch assembly new
Tires and Brakes - good condition, relatively new.
Wiper motor new
Wish List:
Everything above to be fixed.
Better performance parts, ie, manifold, cam, etc.
Performance suspension
Side Pipes, Hooker Headers
Possibly scoop hood
Possibly front and rear fenders
Glass Targa Top
"80's style" front bumber
Black interior, brighter lights for gauges.
Insulate the interior for heat from road, engine, transmission.
I know. A lot is wrong, a lot to fix, and a long way to go. It'll be expensive and a lot of hard work. But I am just happy to have the car to work on, and also have access to so many smart, knowledgeable people, with a forum so packed with great info I can read and try to learn from.

I always extensively look for existing information before I ask questions, so I probably wont post very much, but I wanted to say thanks for all the good discussions and info that's archived here, that I can, and have already, learned from. Thanks!
