I would like to thank this forum for all the help it has provided me. I have been looking threw the C5 threads and learning how to solve my little issues. I can't say thanks enough for the loose visor mirror fix, door electrical, and what seems like countless other insights.
I am 24, in the US Army and will be heading to Germany soon. I picked up a vett because 1) always wanted one 2) to enjoy it on the autobahn 3) you have to love the targa top and great gas mileage.
I picked up a 2000 with the red tricoat paint with 77000 miles and of course it has the 6 speed manual. Not half bad for a 10 year old car.
Again thanks for the help and I hope I can give back at least a little.
Congratulations on your new Corvette & Welcome to the Forum! As you've already seen lots of great information & knowledgeable Vette owners here! Best wishes for a sucessful deployment! Enjoy the Autobahn - I've driven it on 4 or 5 different vacations and it is unreal in the fast lane!
First of all, thank you for your service! Our military often gets overlooked in this country, so I want you to know that I have nothing but the utmost respect for you and everyone in service...so again...THANK YOU!!!!! :-)
C5 + autobahn = Heaven! I'm jealous! If you can, post reviews once you drive it the way it should be driven.....in american automotive excellence!
