I just picked up a 2002 Corvette with 35k miles on the clock. Looks like its had a few mods (exhaust and air intake).
Traded in my old car and can you believe they havent even secured the finance yet and I've had the car home 2 days. Weird eh?
So (fingers crossed) The finance hits the target tomorrow and I dont have to take it back. I signed all the dealer papers agreeing payments so I guess they are going to have to find someone to finance it right????
I'm origanally from the UK hense the user name. When I was a kid I used to build airfix models. They were basically models you had to paint then stick together. My first was a Stingray and I've wanted to own a Corvette ever since.
I'll upload some more pictures of the mods and stuff when I get some time. Only thing that doesnt seem to work is the passenger door doesnt unlock with the key fob though it does lock with it.
Sadly the dealer dropped the ball and no one is offering finance on cars older than 2003 over 72 months. So I took the car back this morning and got my ole Stang back.
Too bad it didn't work out. Lots of Corvettes for sale here on the Forum too & typically from a knowledgeable & caring owner. Good luck in your search.
