Just though I'd introduce myself and say hi to you all.
Background - Owned many Firebirds and Camaros. My Present Firebird is a '98 Formula Sebring Silver with a Procharger on it and 42K miles.
I love that car but, have finally realized that it will never be a Vette.
For years I've wanted a Vette. Especially, a Special AE Vette with that shale interior. It just looks racy and classy at the same time.
So, I was able to find one that I could afford finally with only 25K miles on it. I picked it up last week and am already into picking up stuff that didn't come with the car: manual, good tires, car cover, etc...
Therefore, if anyone has Special AE items please let me know. For the right price I'd like to get some of the special items. Key fobs, car cover, glass top, etc...
Thank you all for the welcoming remarks. I hope you had as much fun the first week you owned your Vettes as I have. It's been quite a week. I just wish it would stop raining so I could really get out there and enjoy her. I have had to drive between the rain drops and would like to blast about in the warm sun with this beauty.
My buddy around the corner just bought one a couple weeks back as well. We talked about a trip to 17 mile drive in Carmel just tonight. I'm looking forward to that soon.
