Thought I would introduce myself and try out my typing skills. Stumbled onto this forum searching for help with my Vettes. I have had a 1966 Maroon one since 1989...It's a 327-300
It's in rough shape, but not really bad overall.

Most of it's roughness comes from 5 years of neglect from just letting it sit around.
About 4 months ago I thought I wanted another Vette just to buy as an investment seeing that my stock guy was doing so well. I never did anything other than stalk them on ebay and craigslist till I stumbled across a craigslist ad in my hometown. I gave the guy an email, he answered back and I went to see the car. Turns out it was a good friend of one of my best friends. I meet the guy at one of my buddies B-day parties. I wound up purchasing this. Probably overpaid for it, but I didn't have to drive across country to get it. It's a 1966 327-350 with power steering.

never drove it till I paid for it. drove it the 40 miles home. Drives really well but louder than heck.

I'll have lots of questions about Vettes coming up, including help getting my other 66 back up operating and looking good. The guilt of seeing the nice bright blue is eating at me. Makes my Maroon 66 look sad.
