Hi All, it was bitter-sweet seeing my Black Camaro SS Vert LS1 getting driven away. I loved that car, its curves, and it's grunt. But alas, I was always a closet corvette fan, and so I traded her in for a slightly used LeMans Blue C6, Tan Interior.
I had been looking at this Vette online for a couple of weeks. One night I decided to stop by the dealership to check her out in person, and I just fell in love. A nice early Xmas present to myself...
The first night, I felt like I was cheating on my tried and true with a supermodel.
But now I am completely in love with the new one. Walking up to her in the parking lot I can't stop staring at the sharp edges and curves. The c6 is sexy from every angle (unlike my camaro). I already got a couple of salutes from other vette drivers.
So I'm here bored at work and I was looking up the definition of the word "corvette". Merriam Webster says its french, and it's a "highly maneuverable armed escort ship that is smaller than a destroyer." Pretty awesome. See you guys on the road.
Welcome to the Forum and congratulations on your new ride I hope Santa leaves one of those under the tree for my Christmas present because I've been a good boy this year.
