I'm about to sell my 2002 BMW 330ci convertible with 125,000 miles and buy a 2006 C6 convertible with 15k on the odometer. I've owned the Bimmer since it was new, 8 years ago, and it's going to be tough letting go. But I think things will work out just fine
As for the 'vette, it's silver with a red interior and it meets my two requirements for car ownership since I moved from Pennsylvania to sunny(ish) Northern California, it's a drop top and it's got a stick shift. And, as far as I can tell, it can blow the doors off of any (unmodified) convertible costing less than 100k.
