As the title reads, I do NOT have a Corvette. What I do have is a 1979 Z/28 that I've had since I was 16 years old......I'm 32 now. It was my 1st car.
The car is currently being restored to a modified-original appearance. It is almost time to buy the base/clear. The original color of the car is silver but had been sprayed red when I bought the car. I want to go back to a silver color. I've been studying silver colors for several years trying to make up my mind about which one to go with when the time came to have my car painted.
I have been seeing a '09 or '10 Z06 silver Vette at a local dealer. This silver car might as well be a flashing neon light every week when I drive by. Upon doing some research, I understand the color is called Blade Silver Metallic. This is an absolutely beautiful color. I think it would look good with all my matte black powder coated trim, etc.
I know by browsing some of the member's pictures here that there are some Blade Silver Metallic cars around. Can someone please post the color code that I would need to give to the paint supplier? I thought it was be nice to keep a GM color on this old Chevy. Thanks for your time!!
