I'm a long time Corvette owner and looking to add a newer one. My current Corvette is a 1960 hardtop only, 4 spd close ratio, big brake with the original finned drums, heater and radio delete. It was originally a fuelie but now has a 60s 327 in it that runs very well. I've owned it 27 years, have the original bill of sale and am the third owner. This is not a garge queen and I drive it at least 800 miles every year. My other Corvettes have been a moss green '65 coupe, a 1972 LT1 bought new from the dealer and a red '79.
I've been attending Bloomington almost since it started in the late 70s and had the pleasure to meet Zora up there and take part in three of the road tours. I've been searching the forum because I want to ad either a '96 Grand Sport, C5 Z06 or possibly a C6. My personal Corvette styling favorites are the '62 coupe, '63 split window, '96 Grand Sport, and C5s, however the headlights on the C6 are growing on me.
Welcome to the forum! Post pics of your '60 when you have a chance - love to see it. I didn't like the headlights on the C6 at first either, but they're growing on me too.
