I have a '64 that was completely original when acquired 10 years ago (other than new paint). Ironically, got it to hot rod but when I realized the 64,000 miles really was correct, and all components were original, I have pretty much kept it stock. Completely went through suspension and brakes, and saved all original components that I replaced (m/c, fuel pump, alternator, carb, water pump, etc). Just a 250 hp, but nice and mellow for cruising on a weekend or long trip up the coast. Interior is untouched and great shape other than one small dash crack and faded carpets.
