Hello,
I just looked at a 93 polo green,tan leather, 6 speed Corvette with 65K miles on it from a dealer. The car looks really nice body and interior wise. I took it for a short ride and it seemed to run and handle fine. I noticed the clutch didn't engage until the pedal was about half way up, is that normal? I put $100. down and am going back Saturday to close the deal I think. I forgot to check the carfax but will do so before buying it. I used to have a 70 that I sold about 10 years ago. I guess I have Corvette fever again. I was going to look at another one too, but this one is very nice, it looks almost new. The price seemed really fair too, $9,577. before taxes,title, etc. I really know nothing about C4's, so I have some learning to do. Any thoughts are welcome and appreciated.

Welcome to the Forum!!!!!!!!!!! Best of luck completing your deal. Polo Green is a great color. Go over to C4 General and ask the owners there about the car and the price. Enjoy the car (hopefully) and the Forums.

Welcome Aboard! Check in with the folks on the C4 board. There is a lot of good info there and people that will help.
Welcome to the Forum. Sabre34 is right. There is a lot of info at the C4 Section. I really enjoy mine
Since you are buying it from the dealer, have the service department run the VIN. It will show any work that was done at a Chevy Dealer. I did that to mine and it showed a great service record.
Make sure you check out the radio, if it is a Bose, and make sure all the speakers are working.
If that is original paint and the interior and engine look good, it sounds like a fair price.
Thanks guys for the warm welcome, you sound like a nice group. Hopefully I'll be the the new owner of a 93 C4 tomorrow. I don't know about buying it on Halloween though, that's a little scary,lol.

as a grduation to myself from college; had the money to buy a brand new 75 vette and was my dream since sitting in a brand new vette in 67 wishing I could buy one; the price in 67 a mere 3500; having just got my drivers license and no job yet and stil trying to finish high school; vowed that I would one day do it
and i did; and had a blast driving in cross country from New york to california then again from california to Tennesse; then to Georgia; then to Texas, and then back to California
and then when my son turned 16 taught him to drive a stick shift in my old vette;
car has a lot of sentimental memories and would like to get her looking pristine again, amazing that when you first get one you pour everything into it; then with a family the money always has to go to something else including the honey do this chores and then the but dad I need this
