After about 7 yrs off, we have finally pulled our 88 coupe out of mothballs and started attending Corvette events again.
Credit for the rebirth of enthusiasm goes to our son, Rob (Spinner_89) and his wife. They got us to come out of retirement and attend their CU in September event in Calgary. We had a ball, and re-connected with many great friends from the past.
Some credit also has to go to my wife, who placed an "order" with me for a C6 for her 60th. (Note: She's allowed to do that because the '88 coupe was my 50th birthday gift from her.)
I'll just add that she should be registering on here soon with her new (to her) '07 Atomic Orange convertible, which we will pick up in Dallas next month.
I have been watching Corvette Forum for a few months now, and have to thank everyone who posted info on the C6 as it helped me a great deal in selecting her car.
