Hi, my name is Shannon and I've been a looong time Corvette enthusiast since I was 9/10 years old. The Corvette C4 just came onto the market and ever since I've always had this desire to someday own one. My wife and I recently sat down to discuss our budget and we hope and pray to purchase one beginning in 2012 (used). With the way the economy is right now we really don't want to take money out of savings to put some down on a vehicle that's not a necessity for us in the first place. We plan on buying an '07-'08 Corvette, by that time in the upper 20's-30K price range. I battled with myself for weeks now trying to convince myself to go ahead and purchase a $3-$4K '84 C4 we saw locally and restore it but I think I'm just going to wait it out and purchase a C6.
In the meantime I need to concentrate on paying off the HHR we purchased last year and my Silverado by 2012 and "HOPEFULLY" the economy would be somewhat better??
Take care you guys, great informative site!!
Shannon
Hi Shannon and welcome to the Forum
Do a lot of research here on the C6's and C-5's. You never know, you might find a very nice C-5 with very low miles you might really like.
Good luck when you're ready
