My name is Chris, im 24, and im from North Jersey right by NYC..
well ive wanted a corvette since i was a little kid and i finally got one..
its a Black 99 6spd coupe with black interior. its got 80k miles and i got an awesome deal on it.. the previous owner did a few cosmetic things that im not to fond of but the price was right, and ill make it my own.
Here's what it looks like now..
in the future i plan on painting the silver accent on the door, satin black. removing the vent fin things.. kinda like this
ill be getting the 9 piece blackout kit, exhaust(not sure which one yet),
and ill be buying these wheels off my buddy Paul(hes most likely a member on here, i just dont know his UN)..
well tell me what u think guys..
p.s. i sold my Supercharged 454ss pickup to get this vette so please reasure me that ill love my corvette just as much lol..

its a breath of fresh air lol.. ive been snooping around for the past couple weeks and this site is a gold mine for information.. i bought the car today and im picking it up tomorrow after i get plates.. i look forward to the journey

Welcome to the Forum!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations on your C5!! I'm sure you'll love the Vette as much as the truck just in a different way, for different reasons. Both are great vehicles but very different. Enjoy the car and the Forums.

Hey Chris welcome to the Forum and congratulations on your vette That was a good looking truck you had but you will love the vette. I have a truck as well as my vette but if I had to pick one, there is no question I'd take my vette. I'm glad I still have both because I love driving them both. Like Rick T said they are both good just different, but the vette is the best.

thanx bud.. i was looking at both the other day and i was sad i had to sell the truck to get the vette cause its rare and u dont see them in the condition mine was in.. but like u said the vette = win!
