Default Hi, Folks...

Just wanna say Hi to all the vette folks. Here is a little info about me.

I do not own a Corvette, but would like to own one, one day. I come from the import world and have owned numerous 91-94 Sentra SE-Rs and 91-95 MR2 Turbos. I have been toying with cars for about 7 years now and have been involved in many racing events such as Drags, autocrosses, and roadcourse racing. I really hope to gain lots of knowledge from this forum and also maybe buy my car from the forum members here.

I have built several different cars. I have built about 6 Turbo Sentra SE-Rs and 3 V6 MR2's. Although these cars were very fun and great for all around racing. I have been touched by the Corvette bug and am really considering buying one. So I really hope my intro is some sorts of good.

Here is a Video of my V6 MR2.

MODS:
99' Tacoma 3.4L V6
350Z Muffler
Intake
Solid mounted
Turbo Transmission

Welcome to the Forum!!!!!!! Sounds like a C5 Z would suit your style, depending on your finances of course. Good luck, have fun and enjoy the Forums.

Might want to check out the Pacific Northwest Regional Forum for local events, happenings, get togethers, cruises and just local talk.

Hi and welcome to the Forum Did you ever take your MR2 to the track to see what it would do? That little car should be fast.

Thanks for the firm welcome... I did take it too the track a couple times, but it was not setup properly for the 1/4 mile. With me originally using the N/A trans I trapped a 13.9@86mph and with the Turbo trans it was a 14.1@88mph. I was N/A and only dyno'ed 160hp/210ft lbs Which all came in at once @ 1800rpms-5500rpms. So it was more of an autocross car then a drag car. It handled great through the corners, due to the added weight in the rear end. Making oversteer very controllable through the corners and being able to exit fast.

I am thinking that a C5Z is definently what I am shooting for, I already have the family hauler and just sold my MR2 Turbo, so now its all about saving up pennies, nickles, and dimes. Saving pretty much evrything not being spent on the wife and the boys.(18month old SON and a 2month old SON)

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

Welcome to the forum, you will find a lot of information here and a lot of real nice people. Feel free to call or contact me as I am local to you, I live in Portland and have a shop in Vancouver, current projects in my shop are a LS2 C6 AA Supercharger install that is almost done and will be on the dyno sometime tomorrow, a 07 C6 Z06 that is inf or a wiped out engine, a old C4 ZR1 that is in for drivability issues and in a week a new Z06 will be coming in for a twin turbo and forged engine upgrade. If you want to stop by and talk Corvettes come on by, I work alone most of the time so company is always welcome.

Welcome to the forum

I think you should change that to "bitten" by the Corvette bug.
