Hello everyone! I've been a lurker here for awhile since this site is a pretty great source of info (and pics to drool over), and finally decided to join the community.
I'll admit, I don't own a 'vette at the moment (only being 19 might have something to do with that - go ahead and make the little kid jokes ), I plan on changing that pretty soon. I do drive a black '02 Trans Am that I love to death, but I've wanted a 'vette for as long as I can remember. Thanks to the complete collapse of the used Corvette market (Seeing C5's with under 50k going for less than $20k now - C6s around $30k), my coming signing bonus from the military (recently enlisted in the Marines...heading to Parris Island in 2 weeks), and getting a buyer for the T/A (my dad...he loves the thing more than I do, and neither one of us wanted to see it leave the family), not to mention the discovery that vette insurance is cheaper for us toddlers than f-body (or just about any sports car) insurance, I've pretty much decided that I'm gonna pull the trigger and give myself a clean used Corvette in the coming year or two.
You guys seem to have a great community over here, and I'm happy to become a part of it!
