I'm a new member here. Living in Arizona. I posted a similar post to this in the C3 forum, but as someone pointed out I might get a bias opinion by posting this type of question in a year specific forum. So I thought I would introduce myself and post it here. Sorry for the mistake. Anyway..........
I'm in the mood to buy a Vette, and I'm trying to decide between 2 years/models. Either a 1978 Pace Car or a 1988 35th anniversary. These are 2 of my favorites.
I previously owned a 78 PC and sold it around 10 years ago. It was a lot of fun and I do miss that car. (But I miss a lot of cars I should have never sold ). Mine was a L48. I guess like most I would rather have an L82.
I'm not a collector, just looking for a weekend toy to tinker with and take to some of the local cruises. So I don't want something that has been in storage all its live with only 800 miles or so. I would rather find something with fairly low miles, but not so low I don't mind driving it a bit.
Anyway, now I'm just rambling out load. LOL...
So.... any comments? Go for a 78PC or 88 Anniversary?
