Greetings. 9 days ago I ran out of dreams when I brought home a new to me '01 6spd LS1. I am in total awe for this car's abilities. Owning this car has been a great reintroduction to driving. Having owned a so-called German performence luxury sedan, this car has reminded me what it really means to accelerate, brake and corner. My steed is a creampuff. I am only the 2nd owner and the car sold new here in L.A. The plastic is still on the door sills and the cigarette lighter has never been used. I drove about 6 different cars before I picked this one. The 6 speed is the only way to go, its a major kick in the rear but the active handling keeps me from making a fool of myself. Only trouble so far...
...the gas gauge took one day off but seems to be working fine now.
the driver window went down and now only goes up an inch. I've been searching the tech forums but any help is appreciated.
Other than that I try hard not to kick myself for waiting soo long to have a Vette of my own. But when I'm behind the wheel there is no looking back.
