Hello all. Just wanted to introduce myself here. I'm an Army Captain that's in the first third of my second tour in Iraq. I'm writing this from Western Baghdad.
I've been a 'vette head for a while. With some prudent savings, a trade in, and a nice bit of luck, I'll hopefully have an '08 ish C6 in my hands come SEP 2009.
If anyone has any questions about my experiences in Iraq insofar, on the Army in general, or the 'cars' that we have here, I'd be glad to share and discuss.
I've always admired the Corvettes, and I'd really like to have one after two tours.
That's all for now, but I cant wait to be an active participant in this forum.
Welcome aboard. Enjoy !!!!
Thanks for your service. Come home safe and enjoy your new Vette.....

You will find a number of the forum members are active or retired military that also happen to love Corvettes. You should feel right at home. Stay safe and thanks for your service.
