Hello.

I’m from Europe, Poland. I don’t have even a driving license yet (have to pass an exam) but anyway I think that my car experience isn’t so poor. I was driving just few cars in my life and in the rest I was just a passenger but it’s always something. A year ago I had a chance to drive (as a passenger) second time BMW M6 then Corvette Z06. I didn’t know what to expect, I heard that American cars are handling bad and things like that. I thought that M6 is a way better than Z06 in all of aspects. [I was SO WRONG] I sitted in Z06 and the first opinion was “it’s bad made, low quality of materials”. When my brother pushed acceleration pedal all bad things gone away. I still remember this awesome sound and view on enormous mask! Wheels were boxing, I love wild cars. My brother was going to Netherlands, he did in this car few thousand kilometers but I hadn’t time to go with him so far, so I stayed with him in car for 20 minutes and it was enough time to go on highway and we hitted there 280km/h. How fast car accelerates doesn’t mean how good car is, I knew it’s gonna be fast but it surprised me anway. My brother was driving in his life many cars/supercars (Carrera GT, 997 Turbo, R8, M6, M5, E-class 63 AMG, RS4, all SRT including the newest Viper SRT-10, Impreza WRX STi SPRT – special edition etc…). The point is that he will know which car is good, which are bad and good sides of car. Since year we both are huge fans of Corvette Z06, it’s only one supercar that my brother is able to purchase, because it’s quite cheap. I saw the film about Z06 and I know that the production process is similar to making a Ferrari (it’s really impressive!) ! Corvette Z06 is that car which can show a driver how low his driving skills are. You must feel respect to this car. It’s gonna be my brother’s main car. Before, he owned a car that was even worse to “daily using”, a car prepared to rallies so that’s why we are not afraid of that a Z06 is lack in luxuries. Maybe even in this year my bro will buy racing car because he will start in race in 2009 season, he already started in one race in 2008 and in one in 2007 as a guest. So Corvette have to wait

Corvette Z06 has an awesome time on the most prestigious track in the world – on the Nurburgring, it is equal 7:42.9. Another good thing is that Corvette doesn’t consume too much petrol. The engine isn’t overloaded, there are not even 100hp per 1 liter ! That’s why I think this car should be very reliable and in addition would be able to hit high mileage. Z06 in Europe is very unique car, especially in my country. For 38 000 000 people there are just 10 Corvettes Z06 and much more C6 but it doesn’t matter. You will find here more F430, Gallardo, DB9, M6, 997 Turbo, R8… This car is very unique here, it’s another plus. People here don’t know how good car Z06 is. I saw just 1 specimen of Z06 and equal number of Veyrons – actually one guy near me owns Bugatti.

Our favorite specimen of Corvette Z06 would have a black exterior with gray pained wheels (the newer one for 2009) or a black exterior with black pained wheels (standard wheels for Z06 2006).

I think that I shared with you all of information on Z06 subject that I knew, probably it was a bit pointless, you know it a way better than me but I would like to know how big difference are in our opinions, where I was wrong etc..
Corvette Z06 stands for me over a Gallardo LP560-4 or even Ferrari F430. I’m really head over heels in love with Chevrolet Corvette Z06! I should to be drying out because of this car… ! Do you feel the same affencion?:>
