i just purchased a new 2009 Corvette. when i wash it the rear veiw mirrors leak water down the side of the car for a long time, causing a hard water stain. does anybody know what to do to help stop this. thanks.

Have the same issue with mine. Best I can suggest is to try to push up on the mirrors as you dry the car and press the towel up against the mirror to body interface. Have to admit that a little water spotting is better than high speed turbulence noise around the mirror though, from my perspective.
I use my leaf blower to remove the water from my Vette (and my other vehicles), especially helpful with problem areas like mirriors & tail lights. Then I follow-up with a microfiber towel(s) to get any areas that need drying.
