Nobody knows everything, Iknewit
My current project landed me here. Never thought any automobile would stump me, but the '90 in the stable has done just that. Your VATS documents provided a solution. I must say thank you to the people who took the time to do the research, and assemble the information into a nice package.
I've been involved with most of the things you can think of, when you talk automobile, or race cars. For 18 years a '78 Vette was daily transportation. Not a purist. Believe bad design and engineering should be fixed. (Example; vacuum actuated headlight buckets.) Long ago I coupled the two, and installed a single windshield wiper motor which does the job of opening and closing the headlight buckets, in unison, quite well. Turned out to be a bolt on project, without any actual mods to the car. There are others. So, here I am, I'll remain quiet, as I scope out the site, and read up on whats happening. If I can add anything worthwhile to assist, or inform on a topic, I'll speak up.
As a young man, my father gave me some good advice, he said, "Leave your street car alone. If you want to race, build a race car, and go to the race track, because thats where the racers are."
