Corvettes Conquer Cancer Founder, Ben Labaree, passes away...

Many on this site may have encountered Ben over the years. Nice guy, he was on a mission of awareness for cancer after his wife Sandy was diagnosed.

First in his C5, then His emblazoned C6 traveled the USA and was legendary.

As a long time member of the C5-6 registry I got to know Ben quite well. Went on several cruises with him and of course time at Carlisle. I told Ben that the way he could pack his Vette to go to shows that he had the only ever made 3/4 ton rated Vette

My wife's and my name were proudly painted on his Vette.
