He died well. Quickly and beside his beloved car. What more can anyone ask? This is of course tragic for his family but it begs the question, is there a better way to depart than this ?

....out west there is a saying....that he died with his boots on....which was a preferred way to go and not in some bed somewhere.....its good to know that Hammy died with his 'boots' on doing the things he loved best........

I am absolutely shocked at this turn of events. Things like this remind me how fragile life is. A buddy of mine that knows I do ER confided in me he has a glioblastoma tumor in his brain...did not see that one coming either. We only have one body to move ourselves around this Earth is what he said and what I read in here seems to reinforce that notion. God rest your soul, David.

NO WAY!!!

He always used to back me up whenever we praise the black wheels on C6's.

I never talked to him or met him but just posting here and reading his posts, and him quoting me at times, i know he was a good man.

Damn RIP hammy!

Same here. Still trying to decide but think I will go with black gloss wheels in his honor
