I just noticed this and am shocked to hear the news - although I only have known "TORCH" through the Forum I am very saddened to hear about his passing. I really enjoyed reading his posts and seeing the pictures. My condolences to his entire family.

What!?
Don was awesome! This is very sad and disturbing news! I think he was just about to retire.
We became good friends over the 11 years on this forum. I don't know what to say right now.
My thoughts go out to his wife and family right now and I am sending positive thoughts and prayers your way!
I will miss you my friend!
The rock he sent me from Alaska will always be on the shelf in the science department class room at St. Petersburg College, Florida for the students to look at.

RIP Torch, my condolences to the family. I loved reading his posts, and especially enjoyed the pics he posted of the moose, bear and wildlife in general. He lived a life most of us could only imagine, but was generous enough to share it. Thanks, Don, for including us.

RIP Don
Debra and family, my sincere on Don's passing. He was truly one of the good guys and always spoke very highly of you.
I haven't been here much but emailed back and forth with him on different occasions. We always had an unofficial pike fishing contest going too.
So very sorry for your loss.

Wow!!! What horrible news. Not a bad word was ever directed towards him here on the forum. We were all blessed with having known him and the forum will always have a little piece of it missing with him gone. We have lost a very good man.
