Default RIP Dad

The last 6 months was a struggle for my Dad, we lost him early tonight. I did get to spend time with him today, he passed with no suffering.

Even though he didn't own a Vette he loved mine.

Dad may you rest easy now and be joined with Mom.

You will be missed by all those who you've touched over the years.

Bless you and your family.
I lost my Dad Christmas Eve 1974 and I spent time with him that day.
He never got to meet my wife, my kids, or any of my Vettes but I am sure his is proud of his now 55 year old kid.
I'm sure your Dad is very proud of you.

I'm glad that you got to be with him at the end. That's a special thing between a father and his son.

I was with my mother during her last breaths. She never got to see or ride in my 'vette, either. I feel your pain.

Condolences to you and you family

I lost my father 11 years ago this January. I was at his house the night before with two of my brothers. We all had a good time, not knowing it would be the last time we would see him. We lost him unexpectedly the next evening. He was one month short of 61. I still think of him about every day. My condolences to you and yours.

This is very difficult for me to even type, although my Dad never owned a vette he always enjoyed riding in & driving his kids vette's..........even the occasional Auto X in his younger years!

In his last few months I trailered my C6 to his home & took him for his last vette ride in the latest technolgy.....he was truly impressed!

For sure this C6 will be in my will with that notation.

Jay,

I am saddened to read this. We seem to have all gone through a terrible year of loss in family and Corvette family too. Time does not really heal but it does make it somewhat less painful.

Peace
