I thought about this all last night. Even though I did not know him, this has affected me greatly. God Bless.
I would like to propose that his name is left at the bottom of the front page as an "active" Moderator. Symbolically then, he will always be reading CFOT and "watching" over us.

Im in shock with this news this morning.....I have been busy with work but something drew me to come to Off Topic this morning..... My heart sank when I did....
This doesnt seem real after just seeing Bill a few weeks back at the CI.... he was a GREAT guy, and someone who was very easy to talk to and get to know. He will definetly be missed here!! Im just at a loss... so very tragic.... My thoughts and prayers go to his family,and to us, his friends coping with this loss..... Please let me know the details of the bench... I will definetly contribute!!!!

I too didn't see this until this morning. It is very tragic indeed.
I was put in moderation one time in the 6 years I've been here. It was by Bill. I deserved it.
My thoughts are with his wife and children. It is so sad to think what they must endure.
