Default In Loving Memory of My Uncle, LeRoy

It has taken awhile for me to do this, but I'd like to post up a tribute to my late uncle LeRoy Haefner, who passed away February 27th at the age of 60. I'm not sure he was a member of the forums here but he was a life-long Corvette lover. From a young age he would pick up damaged Vettes, repair them and re-sell them, earning money for his own. Over the years he had several Vettes of his own. I particularly remember a silver '76 that I would always ask him about and wanted for so long for him to take me for a ride in it. He finally did one day and that was my first ride in a Vette. I remember sharing this love of the car with him and just this past fall was the first time he showed me a scrapbook of himself through the years, repairing Vettes and enjoying life. He will be dearly missed by his family and by me. God bless him and keep him safe.

Here's a picture of his '95 Convertible.

Here's to you LeRoy for the good times with all your vettes.

And to you CTL for being so thoughtful to post IMO.
