Ryan, sorry your journey ended so soon and on such a rough patch of road. Your journey on lifes road detoured, but your lifes actions affected many for the better.Through the mist of time,we will hear that corvette comming, comming to pick us up, for our last ride, into the light.
rip and god bless
I am sorry to say that I am just now discovering this thread. I have just spent over an hour reading a good many of the posts. Ryan was obviously an incredible young man that touched a great number of people. We can all only to strive to be half the person that he was when we face our final days. He was and is an inspiration to us all. May God bless his family and many friends.
Bob
I wish to thank you your fantastic posts. Here I was fretting about such trivial things as finding funding for my third child's college education, oldest daughter getting herself into mountainous debt, younger daughter dating a stooge, blah, blah, blah... when I ran across your thread. I need to tell you that it was just what I needed to reset my priorities!!!
I am not afraid to tell you that more than a few tears were shed as I read through your posts. While I did not know Ryan, I do have children the same age. My wife and I have lived our lives only for them. While reading through the posts, I began to realize that my problems and concerns paled in comparison to what Ryan and your family were experiencing! I actually felt embarrassment and shame for having been so shallow.
I just wanted you to know that I prayed for Ryan and your family. I also want you to know that your story has inspired me to have a totally new perspective on my life's issues. The main thing is that my family is healthy. I need to be extremely thankful for that!! The rest will fall into place.
Thank you, Ryan and Family for sharing your inspiring story! Godspeed Ryan.....if you look closely, you will notice that every Angel's wings have Corvette logos on them!!
Ryan got called early, he was more than ready. He had already learned all that he needed to. He is well prepared to live in the fathers house. He valued everyday here, but new where he belonged. What a merciful father that recognizes a soul in pain and relieves that pain.
Ryan lasted as long as he did not because God wanted to prolong his painful existence here, but to show each of us how to become a better person.
Ryan has done that for all of us, now we need to follow his example. There is the goodness of Ryan in all of us, we just need to let it out and spread it around, like Ryan did.
I know I will. Drive it like you stole it Ryan!
Steve
WOW! I am sorry to say I am just reading the post for the first time and the courage it obviously took to write this is short of amazing. My prayers go out to Ryan's family. RIP!
Peace be with you Ryan....I just came across your thread and what a brave person, an inspiration to all of us left behind... Save us a spot... I know your family is awfully proud of you... God Bless
Bravest kid I have ever heard of, 19 years old on the outside, but his maturity was much beyond that. I wish I could have met him, he's an inspiration to all of us.
This breaks my heart to see a fine young man be taken away so young . My heart and prayers go out to those that loved and knew him . Sometimes life just really sucks
