Default Lost my brother last night

I found out late last night my brother was killed on his 2004 buell motorcycle.Jim was a member here and drove a black 2004 c5 558 hp.Jims passion was his vette to build it faster and faster N/A .He drove through a chainlink fence and ended up 122 feet in to the woods were he died on impact.I almost lost him to a motorcycle crash 11 years ago 4th of july where he was airlifted to cooper medical center with a torn aorta, broken legs broken ribs, punctured lung, and his muscles were ripped from his shoulder. He survived and eventually got back into riding again,to later end his life last night. It was so hard to tell my 3 1/2 year old son that his favorite and only uncle was in a bad crash and didnt survive for him to say its ok hes in heaven.I am an emmotional wreck right now. These next few days are going to kill me.My brother and i were very close,im gone to miss him dearly.Good bye Jim

I cant say that I completely understand what you are going through, but I lost a friend this weekend due to drunk driving. Im so glad to hear that your brother is in a better place. I wish I could say the same for my friend. Its hard to loose the ones we love, but God will take care of us, and even tho it hurts, its nice to know that we have ppl in heaven that are watching down on us, and looking out for us! You will be in my prayers

Sorry for your loss. I lost my Dad back in June but hardly as tragic. That bitch cancer took him slow and took her time. Hopefully, your brother is doing 225 MPH down streets of gold...

There is nothing i can say to ease your pain for now. Just trust in the fact that as time goes on it at least becomes manageable.

So sorry for your loss. As stated before, he's in a much better place, but I know that your pain remains. Nothing can replace the loss of a loved one. My prayers out to you and yours.

I'm on the other end of the stick - my brother crashed his bike earlier this summer but, although he got banged-up, luckily he survived. Yesterday was his 41st birthday. Your posting just reminded me how lucky I am, and how fragile life is. My sincere condolences to you, your family and his friends.

Pat,
I am so sorry to hear that you lost your brother. I am sure that in the coming days, weeks and years you will look back at all the fun you had together and how much he meant to you. My hope is that you take a moment and realize you meant that much to Jim as well, you enriched his life just as he did yours. We often overlook that fact when in pain.I hope you can find comfort in the fact that you were both a blessing to each other.
Please remember the good times, forget the rest (brothers often go thru the good and bad together) and keep him alive in your heart until you meet again.

Bill

I'm VERY SORRY to hear about your loss.
I'm sure that as you were growing up together you were thick as thieves. Try and remember all the GOOD TIMES that you had together. It may help you through these trying times.
As far as your son goes, tell him that his Uncle will always be watching over him, The ANGEL on his shoulder.
Your brother must have loved riding his bike, I will be thinking of him while out on the Harley this morning.
My heartfelt Condolences go out to you and your Family.
Rick

Pat so sorry for your loss to lose a brother is painfull but know this your brother is still here in your heart and in your mind. God need him for something we wont know what for until you meet again. Know your brother is watching over you as you read this and he will encourge to live your life to the fullest you will sence him when you drive or when you share storys to your son about his uncle. Pat I know it hurts and you have questions why, He is safe and is not in any pain. Pat rejoice in his life celebrate the times you had together it's tough but Jim would want you to. Pat my family will pray for you and your son and the rest of your family. I'm so sorry to hear about your brother. As a life long motorcycle rider myself, I've heard too many similar stories. Best wishes to you and your entire family.
