Ken King was an incredible loss to our forum. He was a wonderful person and a top notch vendor. His sincerity and customer service was second to none.
Ken always offered to donate an interior package valued at $850. to help raise money for the children of St. Jude's Hospital. My last e-mail from Ken was to thank me for setting up the annual CF annual fundraiser, along with his desire to help when the next fundraiser was underway.
Ken was a good guy! I won the ultimate package one year (and while I never got the seat covers or the padding he promissed I felt it would be wrong to ask his widow to provide this for me after his passing) from his company.
I still have the yellow KK stickers to pass out to the members who have his interior and want to pay tribute to his memory.
Ken, where ever in the heck you are... thanks for everything!!
Met Ken King at the corvette museum..... immediately noticed his passion/enthusiam for corvettes and how he loved to share his ideas with other passionate folks..... also noticed how he loved to make a customer say "Wow" look at that interior..... He made it his mission to create a product that not only enhanced the OEM, but it looked as if it was suppose to be there in the first place.... He had a relationship with GM so he was always in the know.... he strived to give us the best quality products that he knew certain corvette customers craved...... Ken and I become friends after meeting that year at the museum.... He completely re-did 2 interiors on my C5's allowing them to stand out from the crowd.... We were both proud of what we created in those 2 cars of mine.....
He would always email or call telling me what he was working on next.... Ken will be missed by the corvette world..... we are going to miss out on alot of cool stuff he would of created..... Thanks Ken for your creations and allowing us to enjoy our cars just a little bit more....
Good guy...bottom line.
He would call me about once a month just to talk and we would meet a few times a year for lunch or what ever if he was in the area or if I was out there. We have lost some great people on this forum but this one hurt me me the worst.
Very proud to say Ken was and is a friend

Ken
was such an awesome guy.
One night when I was on the forum I received a PM from Ken asking if I wanted some free interior parts which were black and navy blue. He did wanted to rip them apart since the leather was so nice.
Never had the chance to actual meet Ken but he was always treated me as if i was a long time friend.
I was at Ken's brick ceremony at the NCM during CI VII.
I remember going by Ken's house fairly late one night. I was taking the original Snowmobile up to Spectre Works for their body kit and he invited me to drop by. Even though I was delayed getting there, he was still up, watching movies on TV and gave me a tour of his entire garage. This was really early in his business and he took the time to show me everything he was doing. A good man.
Was working at a client in Troy, MI and decided to drop by Ken's shop to talk to him. Even though he was really busy getting prepared for a big show the next day, he took the time to give me a tour of his shop and show me his products. Ended up placing an order that day and visited with him again the next day at the car show.
Here's a picture of his(and Sandy's) awesome work in my car.
I never had the chance to meet Ken in person unfortunetly but from the way everyone I know talks about him I wish I could have. I did have the great pleasure of meeting his wife and son however and they are wonderful people, so I can only imagine Ken was the same. I actually even bought kens ZO6 from the family and I hope where ever Ken is he knows someone is enjoying the car he built just as much as he did. RIP
A good friend and the world has yet to see a better Corvette product Vendor. Service before, during, and after the sale and then a friend. WOW!! Hard combination to top. Carlisle isn't the same without Ken King stopping by.
When the S/O got her '04 LMB we posted pictures on the CF.
Ken called us out of the blue and asked if we would be interested in 'spec- ing' an interior make over on her Vert.
Ken and Sandy worked with Jelena on and off for a month, designing and redesigning what would look best.
The interior turned out perfect thanks to the tireless efforts of Ken.
When we met up with him shortly before his untimely passing, Ken commented that he was so pleased with the design he continually referred interested LMB owners to the photos of Jelena's Vert interior.
I have, over the course of my life, met many people that made impressions on me. Ken, more so than many, remains one of the most impressive.
