Default In Loving Memory of Linda

This is in Loving Memory of my daughter Linda.
Linda became a Corvette enthusiast at the young age of 19 when I bought my C5. In 2004 when she was 21 she started to learn to drive my 6 speed C5. We had planned on her taking the Corvette down the drag strip at Raceway Park, Englishtown, NJ in the Summer of 2005.
She was still too young to own a Corvette but when she bought her first car, a 2004 Dodge Neon, she chose a color to match my C5.

Well, we lost Linda in April 2005 in a motorcycle accident while she was on the back of a friends bike

She was a nurse at St Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia Pa, had a huge heart and an entire life ahead of her.

I miss her dearly. Many many many Corvetteforum members have helped me cope with this tragic loss since April 2005 and many many members STILL to the day send me PM's with heartfelt messages and I read and appreciate EVERY SINGLE ONE.

Below are a couple posts from a few years back pertaining to Linda and the people here at Corvetteforum. Thanks all for your support.

Thanks to Stephanie Morrill & Adam Boca for these special bricks being placed in such a prominent spot

Thank you to all Corvetteforum members for your support for the last 4 years. I means alot to me.

What a beautiful young lady
It must still hurt
She sounds like the kind of person who makes your life richer for just having known her

I'm very sorry for the loss of your beautiful daughter, Linda.
I can't imagine the heartache you've been through. But I know after three years it still hurts as much as ever.

Glenn,
Yours is the hardest of all lose's. I have two daughters, and the thought of it makes me ill. We have PM'd in the past, and thanks to you I was able to talk my wife out of a motorcycle. She also beat Breast Cancer after that, and I apreciate the kind words you shared with me back then. My wife, like your daughter, is a nurse. So knowing what I know about nurse's, I know Linda was the kind of person dedicated to helping others. G-d holds these souls very close to him.
Your avatar with your daughters picture reminds me everyday of what I have and what you have lost. It trully affects me. In a way your daughter reminds me to love mine everyday. Please always keep her picture there for all to see, in celebration of her life.
Remember one thing, Linda loved you just as much as you loved her. Linda's life may have been far to short, but you made it better, just by being here Dad. Of this I am sure.

Bill

Glenn, I never knew the story behind your loss. Reading it broke my heart and put tears in my eyes.

Truly the worse nightmare a parent must deal with in life.

Even though it has been 2 years, the hole in a parents heart will never heal, but, I will pray for you and your family that God gives you peace and comfort for your tragic loss.

God bless you

Again, Glenn, condolences on the loss of your daughter. Nothing will ever be the same, but you still have your memories of the good times -- the years you were able to share with Linda.

Glenn, Linda was a godsend to you and your family. I am glad you had the time with her before her passing.

In my case I was able to spend 5 years with my daughter before all contact was cut off for the next 11 years between us. Its hell being taken away from your children. I hope as time goes by each day will get better for you and your family.
