Pop Up ads in the mobile version of Forum becoming OBTRUSIVE
I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and in the past few weeks I have noticed the mobile version of the Forum website has become a real PAIN in the butt to navigate. Constant POP Ups !!!!
Is it just me? Has anyone else noticed an increase the number and aggressiveness of the ads? Or am I just going crazy?

Don't know if this helps but on my IPhone if I don't "log in" I get constant pop ups. However once I log in never see them.

I posted this is the help section about two months ago, along with screen shots of the pop up ads, and nothing was done. And for the IT wizards who say you need a better pop up blocker, that's BS, this is the only site I ever get pop ups on and it's constant until I log it, then it happens less often.

I get zero popups on either my iPhone or MacBook Air.
And this is the wrong forum to post this kind of stuff in; it has nothing to do with a C7.

Completely agree. The pop ups are ridiculously annoying in mobile version lately. I get one on almost every new page.
There are some pop ups that don't even have ways to close them so you HAVE to hit back on your browser and go back to your previous page to get rid of them then hope you don't get the same pop up when you go back to that page.

Now that this thread has been moved, I'll chime in to say that the pop ups keep me from going to the mobile version on my iphone.
They pop up almost every click and sometimes the screen shot is not centered where I can hit the x and make it go away so I have to back up and start over. Tooo much. Anyone 'in power' listening?

I haven't experienced this, but the question/complaint comes up with some regularity in the Help section. JT always advises people that they will not have the problem if they sign in, rather than browsing as a guest.

I'm using Chrome to read this thread and respond to your post. I'm not getting any messages from Chrome or Norton. Post a screen shot so we can get the tech team to take a look at it. My guess is that the message you are getting is related to something other than Corvetteforum.

I checked with Google who runs malware scans on websites. It shows CorvetteForum.com has been clean for atleast the past 90 days. If you got a message from Chrome, considering the relationship with Google, it should have shown up in the report. It's possible it's a specific page where a member posted a link to a malware site in which case CorvetteForum is not the actual provider of the malware. If we had a screen capture, as Savewave suggested, along with a direct link that reports the issue in your browser, we can verify the issue to likely be as I described above.
