Is there was to filter for new posts on this forum without having to see posts from certain subforums (ie political)?

You'd need to bookmark this link:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/sear...new&exclude=88

88 is the forumid for the Politics, Religion & Controversy forum and would be excluded in the results.

This should work but it's not 100% official.

By the way when I say to bookmark the link above, I mean bookmark the link exactly as you see it posted above. If you click on the link above and then bookmark the link, you will bookmark the results page and that won't work.
