Looks like the new picture uploading feature doesn't allow for anything other than picture files. You may have to copy and paste the complete URL link from Photobucket or other picture hosting sites. Don't add the IMG tags, just the complete http string

You can still use the legacy Attachment manager by scrolling past the area you type your message in, using the full-reply form, and click on Manage Attachments.

In order to assist we need more information. What isn't working? What is the error message?

PDF files are allowed via the legacy Attachment Manager by following the steps outlined in the link below:

Note that while you can upload up to 2MB PDF files the member viewing the post with the PDF attachment will need a PDF reader and download the PDF file to view it. PDF files are not like pictures that simply display within a post. If you want something that simply displays inside a post for easier viewing, I suggest converting the PDF to a picture. A dyno sheet in a PDF that's converted to a picture would be perfectly readable.

when I send the PDF file to my photobucket account it does not take it
