Can somebody get, Yates a new password ? He cant remember his email address or his password from 2006. He just needs a new PW so he can log in. If he was a spammer or a scammer it would easy enough to register a new ID. It should not be hard to do this.

Have him email forumsupport@corvetteforum.com and see if Eric can help. I generally want some confirmation before giving access to an account and since it sounds like the member can't, I want to defer to Eric.
It's not about being a spammer. It's about giving some confirmation of the account so that we don't hand over an account that doesn't belong to someone else. While some might care less, that opinion can't be used as a baseline for everyone else.
