Jerry, at what point did you get this error message? I get it 90% of the time I try to do a "my recent topics" search.



However, I also got it first thing this AM, when I tried to log in. I came back a while later, and got a "site down for maintenance" banner....


Now, a couple of hours later, it seems the site is back up and running.

I got it when I posted it. I think things cleared up after 15 minutes or so.

Then there were problems later. My impression is things were down
a good part of the night.

I logged off CF around 7PM yesterday, and didn't try to get back on till around 8AM today.

The tech folks report they had database issues when they tried to bring the site back up after maintenance last night. Should be okay now, but please report any anomalies.

Error 503 Service Unavailable

I get that every morning when I first use My Recent Topics. Issue started about 2 weeks ago.

Only happens first thing in the morning, then fine rest of the day.

I had been having the "503 Error" issue for a long time, every time I'd log in. But as of the "site maintenance" of yesterday, I've been able to search "my recent topics" without any problem........

Hope I’m not jinxing myself BUT the recent topics opened the first time I tried to get in both yesterday and today. It normally has taken me up to 6 tries over a five minute or so period. This has been like that for months and yes I’m a poster with large counts.

Have not timed with a stop watch or anything dramatic like that BUT it appears things in general are moving faster.

Now weather this is just an anomaly or do to Friday was the start of the Holiday weekend I do not know, but hopefully the geek squad here finely hit the right buttons.

I just came on to CF, and did not get the typical morning 503 error--first time in several weeks.
