Anyone else updated firefox, and notice with this site as soon as you click on a link it take you to the very bottom of every page? Only seems to be happening here though......

I am running Firefox 8.0 and it is doing the same thing.
It would appear that IB has made some change this morning.

Thanks for posting, I was just coming to start a thread about it. I have Firefox 9 but it appears it is more than a Firefox issue

Default Going to the bottom of the page?

All of sudden this morning, every forum thread I open, whether for the first time or via a "take me to the first unread post" link, loads at the very bottom of the page.

I notice some Firefox users are seeing this, but I am running Safari 5.1.2 on a MacBook Pro (Max OS X 10.7.2).

Happening to me too. The automatic FF upgrade yesterday was to ver 9.01. I had been running the 9.0 and there wasn't any problem with going to the bottom of the page.

Default Why Does Loaded Page Shift to the Bottom of Page

Since last evening a page load problem has shown up for me. When a page is loaded, it loads as it always has, but after a short delay, then shifts to the bottom of the page. Annoying in that every time I want to read a new page I have to scroll back up to the top. Worked ok last evening, this morning, not so much.

Running Mac w/ Safari 5.1.2

Does the same with Safari. Probably a forum issue, not Firefox.

I am having the same problem with it defaulting to the bottom of each new page.

Upon accessing this site this morning, I also had a warning on avast about a potential issue-something to do with:

js:downloader-gen@bhv

A search gave me an indication it may be a false positive, but I've never gotten a warning when logging in to CF.

After logging on, the page issue started.

Just some additional info if it helps.

Looks like this issue has been fixed. Any thread I open now keeps the first post at the top. Same with the CF forum index page.

My problem is similar...pages have widened for the past few weeks and have to be moving to the right to see the whole post.

I merged these threads regarding the browser being directed to the bottom of the page. That issue should be fixed. If not, let us know.

Works fine now. Thanks J T.

I could be wrong, but I don't think it had to do with Firefox (I have not updated anything lately however). It did only occur on this site for me.

I just ran Malware, Spybot and Avast with no viruses detected. I had just ran them yesterday as my weekly routine.
